About Pinnacle

Pinnacle Advisors is a specialist accounting and advisory practice operating at the intersection of two things most firms struggle to do simultaneously: deliver precise, ATO-compliant work and think strategically about what that work means for the business behind it.

About Pinnacle Advisors

There is a reason the best view only exists at the top. From the ground, you can work hard and stay busy, but still not know if you are heading in the right direction. From the peak, everything becomes clear — where you have been, where you are, and what needs to happen next.

That is what Pinnacle Advisors is built to give Australian businesses and accounting firms — not just numbers, but clarity.

Founded by Vidhi Ashik Mody, a Chartered Accountant with deep experience in the Australian business landscape, Pinnacle Advisors is a specialist accounting and advisory practice. We combine precise, ATO-compliant accounting and taxation work with strategic thinking about what it means for your business.

We work with boutique Australian accounting firms and CA practices looking to build capacity and scale without compromising quality, as well as Australian small business owners who need an accountant that truly understands their business and goals.

  • The Person Behind the Practice

Vidhi Ashik Mody — Principal Founder

Vidhi Ashik Mody

"Great accounting is one of the most powerful tools a business has — and most businesses never get to experience it that way."

Vidhi did not become a Chartered Accountant to file tax returns. She grew up in India, studied Commerce at the University of Mumbai, and moved to Sydney in 2016 with a clear intention: to understand Australian accounting and taxation not from the outside, but from the inside.

She completed her Master of Professional Accounting (Extension) at UNSW — one of Australia’s most respected universities — and simultaneously began building her career inside Australian CA firms, learning how the system actually works, not just how it is taught.

She earned her Chartered Accountant qualification through CAANZ and her Registered BAS Agent status through the Tax Practitioners Board of Australia — both requiring some of the most rigorous professional standards in the country. She met them early.

Over six years of practice, she has developed insight that goes well beyond technical qualifications. She knows the ATO — how it thinks, what it looks for, and where businesses inadvertently create problems for themselves. She understands the India–Australia tax corridor with the kind of depth that only comes from being genuinely of both worlds. She is fluent across the full Australian accounting technology ecosystem — Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Sage, Wave, Reckon, Zoho Books, and FYI — not just as tools, but as systems that should be working harder for the businesses using them.

But what clients consistently say has less to do with qualifications and more to do with how she makes them feel. Clearer. More confident. More in control. Like someone who actually gets it is finally in their corner.

Outside of work, Vidhi mentors young women building their confidence and professional voice. She believes the best professionals are not just technically excellent — they are the ones who invest in others and set the example worth following.

  • Why Choose Us

Structured Support at Every Stage

Most people find an accountant and hope for the best.
The businesses that reach their peak find an accountant who thinks like a strategist — someone who understands the Australian tax system well enough to see the opportunities inside it, knows the compliance landscape well enough to navigate it without drama, and cares enough about the client’s business to connect both.

For small business owners

Clarity, not confusion

When a small business owner comes to Pinnacle Advisors confused about their structure, unsure whether they are paying too much tax, and overwhelmed by ATO obligations — they leave with clarity. A clear picture of where they stand, what needs to change, and a practical path forward.

For boutique CA firms

Capacity without compromise

When a boutique CA firm engages Pinnacle Advisors to support their growing client base, they get skilled, reliable accounting work done to their standard, on time, every time. No supervision required. No chasing. Just work they can trust.

For India–Australia businesses

Both sides of the corridor

When an Indian-owned business operating in Australia — or an Australian business with Indian connections — needs someone who understands the tax treaties, the cross-border structures, and the compliance obligations in both countries — Pinnacle Advisors is one of the very few practices in Australia with the knowledge and lived experience to actually help.

No lock-in contracts. No generic packages. No surprises on fees or timelines.

Just excellent work, delivered with honesty, and a relationship that earns itself every single time.

  • Our Mission

To Generate Real Value

Not just completed tasks or compliance work. Real, tangible value — the kind a business feels in clarity, confidence, and direction.

Pinnacle Advisors was founded on a simple belief: most businesses are getting numbers, but not insight. They meet compliance requirements, but lack a clear understanding of where they stand, where they are going, and what actions to take next.

Every business deserves more than a service provider. They deserve a partner who brings clarity, guides decisions, and supports growth with purpose.

  • Our Vision

The Practice Businesses Blindly Trust

To be the accounting and tax practice that businesses, accounting firms, and the Indian community in Australia trust completely — not by default, but through consistently delivered results, honest advice, and unwavering commitment.

A practice defined by reputation, not size. Measured not by the number of clients, but by how much better each one becomes.

To lead with integrity, set the right standard, and give back through expertise, mentorship, and meaningful partnerships that drive real progress.

Because the peak is not reserved for a few. With the right guidance, clarity, and commitment, it is within reach — and Pinnacle Advisors exists to help businesses get there.
